Blog rules
Here are a few basic rules for everyone to follow in the ask box and in the submissions:
* Practice OPSEC! For those not yet up to speed on the acronyms (some days I wonder if I’ll ever get there), this means operations security. It’s to keep your soldier (and you!) safe, and means that you don’t spread information that the world doesn’t need to know. Location overseas, information about your soldier’s job…anything like that. Here’s a basic guide if you need more information.
* This is a pro-Military blog. We support the troops on this blog, because they are our men, our women. Our boyfriends, our girlfriends, our family. Whether you support all the policies or the war isn’t the issue here. These men and women are brave, and I won’t tolerate Military-bashing on this page.
* I will not tolerate hate toward any group. At all. This is a page for us to commiserate and share stories and advice, not spread hate.
* OPSEC, OPSEC, OPSEC! I can’t say it enough!
